Andrew Melrose is an Indoor Environmental Professional and the founder of Melrose Mold Solutions. Since 2018 he has provided on-site environmental assessments across 25+ states alongside nationwide consulting — thorough, science-driven evaluations grounded in building science and environmental health.
For years it was Andrew and his dad, Bill. Then, as the work grew faster than two people could carry, the rest of the family came around and put all hands on deck — Andrew’s sisters, his brother, and two brothers-in-law, each bringing something the business needed. Assessments, reporting, client care, finances, marketing, video: it’s a family operation now.
The team holds multiple advanced assessment certifications — CMI, CEMA, and MAC — as well as IICRC credentials in AMRT and WRT, and keeps deepening that expertise through ongoing education in health- and building-related disciplines. The mission hasn’t changed: cut through the confusion surrounding mold and moisture, and give families clear explanations, sound guidance, and practical solutions they can trust.
Founder & CEO
Andrew founded Melrose Mold Solutions in 2018 and is involved in nearly everything the company does — you'll see him in the field, on calls, and across social media. He sets the direction of the company, oversees big-picture strategy, and leads the team with one goal: to help as many people as possible.
Mold Assessor & Customer Relations
Bill performs assessments and produces thorough reports. He also handles customer inquiries and makes sure every client is cared for from first contact through the final walkthrough. He's Andrew's dad.
Mold Assessor & Business Manager
In the field, David handles assessments and reporting. Out of it, he manages the company's workflows, tracks performance against the goals the team sets, and supervises the marketing team. David is married to Andrew's sister Abby.
CFO & Treasurer
Chris maintains the company's financial records, prepares budget reports, and oversees billing and payments. He works alongside his wife, Erin, on back-office logistics.
Secretary & Administrative Assistant
Erin records and distributes meeting minutes and supports Chris and David in keeping the company's documents in order. She's Andrew's older sister.
Marketing & Social Media
Abby works on marketing campaigns and produces the company's promotional materials. She's Andrew's younger sister and is married to David — they collaborate closely.

Nick manages the company's social accounts, does all of the videography and editing, and optimizes SEO. He's Andrew's younger brother.
